Batky Jewelers

Richard Batky is an innovative designer with impressive credentials who creates exquisite jewelry for his clientele at 5600 W. Lovers Lane, #120. Born in Hungary to a family of artists; Mr. Batky's father was a well known sculptor. A childhood interest in precious metals and jewelry-making led to an apprenticeship with the Hungarian State Mint. After being certified in precious metal work and gemology by the Hungarian government in 1965, he spent time in Italy and France gaining rare experience in jewelry design. In 1967 he immigrated to New York City and began designing and creating fine jewelry for companies such as Tiffany's, Van Cleef & Arpels and David Webb.
