In October 2016, the Smith brothers and their good friend Koa Rothman realized their childhood dream by starting a beachside cafe serving healthy breakfast options, including acai and smoothie bowls, along with organic and Hawaiian coffee. The Sunrise Shack began on a plumeria farm on Oahu's famous North Shore, and now, two years later, they have opened their second location in Waikiki, offering sustainable and farm-to-table local food, as well as vegan and gluten-free options. The Sunrise Shack is more than just a surf shack; it's a place where customers can enjoy outdoor dining while sharing the experience of healthy food and drinks with the world.
