THE SUMO, A MODEL BORN IN 2007
Seiko's "Sumo" is one of the most loved and revered diving watches made through this Japanese brand. It is robust, simple reliable, and not particularly elegant , yet still attractive.

Its model Seiko Prospex Diver 200m SBDC031 was introduced in 2007 as a mid-range offering over that of the basic Turtle and Samurai and below the MarineMaster 300m. It has a superior movement to the two cheaper models on one hand and a case that pays greater attention to the details with a lower water resistance with no sapphire-clear crystal, like the MM300.
