Eledoisin is an undecapeptide of mollusk origin, belonging to the tachykinin family of neuropeptides. Like all tachykinin peptides, Eledoisin shares the same consensus C-terminal sequence, that is, Phe-Xxx-Gly-Leu-Met-NH.
