Kay Stewart, who has spent more than 30 years providing caring funeral service to families in Baton Rouge Louisiana and surrounding parishes, serves as the General Manager of Wilson Wooddale Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Gerald Wilson, owner of Wilson Wooddale Funeral Home & Cremation Services, and the entire staff is committed to families receiving professional service at maximum value during a difficult time. We are honored to have Ms. Stewart lead our experienced and compassionate team of funeral providers, who have combined experience of more than 100 years.

We are dedicated to assisting you in creating a meaningful funeral service for you and your loved one. We do that by tailoring our service to each family. We will guide you through the process of planning a funeral ( whether burial or cremation) from start to finish, meeting your needs and honoring your family traditions and personal preferences. We will assist you in designing a Celebration of Life for your loved one whether a traditional or cremation service. Should you choose cremation, we will guide you through the many options available for  cremation services.

The funeral home has a large chapel, with a capacity of 250 people, that serves all Faiths. The chapel size and parking lot size makes it ideal for large services. The funeral home also has separate rooms designated for repasts.
