REPLACEMENT FILTER CARTRIDGES
Why Filter Your Water?
Water can contain dirt, minerals, chemicals and other impurities that make it smell and taste bad. Additionally, some of these contaminants can endanger your health, especially when they include microscopic organisms and bacteria that can cause serious illness.
The Plastic Problem
Quit buying bottled water; install our water filters and replace thousands of plastic bottles. Microplastics are an emerging problem – these small plastic particles are present in bottled and tap water. Our systems filter down to at least 0.5 micron in size, the fine filtration will protect you from microplastics.
Minerals
Some people want naturally occuring minerals in their drinking water, and some do not. Our carbon block filter systems retain minerals in the water. Our Reverse Osmosis Systems take minerals out of the water.
Removing Dangerous Lead
Many homes have pipes and fixtures that contain lead. Lead can leach from pipes into household water, making its plumbing a potential source of lead poisoning. Lead is so toxic that even low levels may be dangerous. But rest easy: all of our drinking water filtration systems are certified for lead reduction.
Chlorine vs. Chloramine
Most systems remove Chlorine. But do you know about Chloramine? Chloramine = Chlorine + Ammonia. It is used in water treatment plants even though it is a less effective disinfectant, more toxic to us, and very difficult for water filters to remove. We have several filters that are rated to reduce Chloramine.
What Model is Best for You?
We can show you which models address certain water concerns, and find the right model for you.
Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Found in your Water
Our BG-12000 system reduces the presence of select pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications, & certain chemicals used in the plastics manufacturing , detergents, & pesticides. Which are found in our drinking water, yikes! Our BG-12000 was among the first certified to the new NSF/ANSI Std 401 Group 3.
