We are using the global version (U.S/B.S/INDIAN) of RGS-REBAR for the past 8+ years . As a global consultancy, we feel RGS-REBAR is easy to learn & simple to use. It is easy to customize & suits our project deliverables which changes from client to client. According to me the option to show bars as a detailer wishes to view/check in a range is the best option in the software. Last but not least the software is affordable and their customer support is excellent.

The biggest advantage of using the RGS-REBAR software is to put control on the reinforcement at our site. We reduce the wastage of steel at a great extent which we could not do earlier. We are using this software for a pretty long time and did not find any difficulties on it for our routine project works. We have recommended RGS-REBAR software to many of our colleagues in the construction industry and they are also happy about the product.

RGS-REBAR software easily generates understandable graphical instructions for cutting, bending & fixing the bar. Since the instructions are pictorial, the bar cutters & benders understand the instructions easily and work accordingly. It is very easy to control the placing. It is good for the contractors to pay extra money for saving the steel, rather than continuing the rebar cutting & blending in the same old traditional way. Saving 10% of steel in a project.

I am working in RGS-REBAR for the past 5+ years, As a detailing engineer I am still using RGS- REBAR software for the following two reasons. Number one: This software works in AutoCAD Number two: I can present the drawing very nicely IN RGS-REBAR, so that I don't get any questions from the site. And i would highly recommend this software if you are in the search of a userfriendly and accurate rebar detailing software.
