NPD investigating homicide of youth shot on Monday

The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred off of University Drive Monday, April 29 around 9:31 p.m. NPD officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of University Drive in reference to a gunshot victim. A 15 year old suffering from a single gunshot wound was was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. The juvenile was later pronounced deceased.
