ABOUT US
MLC was founded in 1999 to provide comprehensive Child and Family Assessments and Consultations services in the Metro-Atlanta area. The agency broaden services to provide intensive home-based counseling and community integration services for families and children as well as operate an Outpatient Behavioral Treatment program with a Substance Abuse Treatment component. Our professional staff is comprised of a Psychiatrist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed and Masters level Clinicians, Behavioral Aides, Safecare Parent Educators, Substance Abuse Counselors, Anger Management Counselors, Trauma Focused CBT DBT and Stress Management. MLC is presently providing services in Dekalb, Fulton, Clayton, Henry, and Rockdale County.
MLC Counseling Services has been awarded the highest level of accreditation by CARF International for its Intensive Family Based Services and Mental Health/Substance Abuse Services serving Adults, Children and Adolescents.

Family Preservation Services
MLC is a Licensed Provider approved to provide all services under the Comprehensive Child and Family Assessment (CCFA) program, including family assessments, wrap around services and adolescent assessments. MLC assist families with acquiring the skills and linking to resources necessary to safely maintain children in their home.

WOCO, Inc.-501(c)3 Non-profit Organization
World Overcomers Christian Outreach, Inc. (WOCO) is a prison outreach organization that serves adults in locked facilities and their children. MLC Counseling Services has collaborated with WOCO for the last 16 years to sponsor children, whose parents are incarcerated. MLC is especially honored to have the opportunity to sponsor children and their caregivers during Christmas with Christmas gifts and grocery store gift certificates. We invite others to consider sponsoring a child this holiday season or making a donation to help this worthy organization throughout the year.
