Your $10 could win Leverage $3000

The St. Louis Community Foundation's Give STL Day celebrates and supports the nonprofits that make our region a wonderful place to call home.

Over the past decade, Give STL Day has raised more than $30 million for over one thousand local nonprofits. Leverage is proud to be a long-time beneficiary.

Of Matter, Mind & Spirit

Originally created for St. Francis Xavier College Church, in 2011 Of Matter and Mind was reset for Holy Cross Lutheran Church in 2018. In June 2024, Leverage will revisit the Holy Cross production as part of a program to develop a new installment of this series for Hope Church in 2025.

Help Leverage secure $3000 to support or artists

Give STL Day is around the corner and this year, Leverage COULD WIN $3000. But we will need all our existing supporters and a few new ones to secure victory.
 
For the past four years on Give STL Day, Leverage has won $1000 for having the most donors in a single hour. This prize has made a big difference to our programming, but the prizes have changed.

This year, the organization in our budget category with the MOST TOTAL UNIQUE DONORS at the VERY END of Give STL Day will win $3000. 2nd place will receive $2000 and 3rd place, $1000.

Best time to give to Leverage:  6pm to 7pm

Your gift to Leverage between the 6 and 7 pm Power Hour will help us most. This a Power Hour. Gifts made during Power Hours are added to by The St. Louis Community Foundation Board of Directors, meaning we will receive a little more than donors actually give.

Plus, by receiving most of our gifts during this single hour we could win a $250 prize for having the most unique donors in that hour. Note, a unique donor just means that each donor only counts once, no matter how many gifts they make.  Each organization can win one hourly prize for most unique donors. We are targeting the 6-7pm hour.

Can't make 6pm - 7pm?

No problem. All gifts during Power Hours earn us extra bucks so the hours below are great times to give too:

9 am - 10am
12pm - 1pm 
3pm - 4pm
9pm - 10pm

But again this year, EVERY unique donor gift counts to help us win the $3000 and there is a chance to win $500 for making the first or last prize of the day, so it is not too late until May 10. Want to REALLY help the team?

We bet you have at least 1 friend, neighbor, family member or coworker who really believes in the value of arts, or just loves to participate in competitions. That one extra gift you help recruit for us could make the difference. It could turn their $10 into an extra $3000 of funding for our small non-profit. Help us have our most successful Give STL Day ever and help us embark on our next 10 years with a big win!

Schedule your gift in advance?

This year, every donation received during the 24 hours of giving window helps us win the $3000. To guarantee you don't miss the event, you can schedule your donation in advance (this enters us to win an extra $500 too)! Note, early giving gifts cannot be set for specific hours.

Need a Give STL Day reminder?

We know it's a lot to keep track of. We will post on Instagram and Facebook and email reminders throughout the day.

Our artists will also remind people personally. Email the staff if you would like a text reminder at a designated time.
