Dear visitor of our site,
on this site we'd like to supply you with information
around the hoof:
- how
a healthy hoof should look like
- how
to recognize discomfort of the horse
- how to overcome
typical "barefoot" problems (boots, floor...)
- how to trim a
healthy hoof
- reasons for navicular
problems
- rehabilitation
of foundered hooves
The site is not finished yet and will hopefully grow.
Natural management of horses will give your young
horses the chance to grow healthy hooves, bones, tendons and cartilage.
Your mature horses will thank you by staying healthy, fit and ready
to perform.
It is especially important during rehabilitation of health problems at the
hoof (founder, navicular,
poor horn quality), musculosceletal system (arthrosis) or bronchial problems.
Natural management does however not mean having your
horses on acres of muddy meadows.
For modern "natural" herd management systems, please enjoy our site wildhorse.at.
