• • What is the age limit of renting a car at Hertz? what is the minimum age or maximum age limit?

    Hertz Iceland do not have a maximum age limit, but we have a minimum age limit. The minimum age for rentals with Hertz Iceland is 20 years old for vehicle groups Economy, Compact, Compact Wagon, Intermediate 2 and 4 doors and Intermediate Wagon. For all other vehicle groups, the minimum age is 23 years old. For certain prestige/luxury cars, a 25-minimum age might be required.     The rental car office at Keflavík Airport is open to service all scheduled arrivals and departures 24/7. Our rental car office in Reykjavík and call center is open 8 to 17 during the week (and to 15 on weekends). Most of our other offices are open during regular business hours (see Locations for details). Note that some remote offices may operate on reduced schedules during the off-season.
