I was very happy with Mike and his crew from Greenwood. I needed some deadwood pruned from a large old oak, and his prompt quote was the best of several. They showed up on time, finished the work in about 5 hrs without breaks, and cleaned up the yard perfectly. They took extra care to protect my shed as well as my neighbour's yard. Reaching out to Mike and the Greenwood Tree Company was the best decision we could have made. When we bought our new home, we knew there were two massive maple trees growing along the lot line in the back. What we didn't know was that they were nearing the end of their lifetime, with one much worse than the other. We did what every new homeowner does: looked on Google and started requesting quotes . Most arborists came out, looked around a bit, and spit out a price that was conditional on us getting the permit first. Most agreed it was a gamble if we would get it. Mike was a totally different story. He took a measured, thorough assessment of our trees and looked at our property as a whole. He listened to our plans for it in the future and why we hoped the trees would be removed. His quote included not only the removal but also an arborist 's report to accompany our application to the city. Mike made it easy for us to get the permit we needed, and supported us 100% of the way through the permitting process. He also helped sub-contract a stump grinder which was bundled into our final price. The whole process was simple, professional, and straightforward. Yesterday, he and his team (Jake and Jag) came to remove our trees. They made quick work of them, even though it was a tricky situation involving power lines, parking spots, and nearby builds. They finished by cleaning up the mess entirely, including my neighbor's yard and shed that had become covered in a layer of sawdust. We could not recommend Mike and The Greenwood Tree Company more. We will definitely use them for any tree maintenance we need in the future.

Contracted Greenwood Tree Company for a large boundary tree removal project in Riverdale. Work was completed today, and we are very happy with it!
