For Vets2, it was a roller coaster game vs. the 4ths of the league. They scored first in the first half, and then again early in the 2nd half. But first Jacob and then Slava drew the game for us. 2-2 and 20 minutes to go. Then it was 2-3, then 3-3 after David MG scored for us (with some help from one of their defenders). It would have been a good result but they scored their 4th. We almost drew on the last play of the game but a defender stopped the ball on the line. So 3-4 vs the 4ths of the league to finish the season. Not too bad, Vets2😎

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. For John’s last game the boys in green lined up and gave a fair performance. Balls were kicked. Sweat was swat. All the girls on the sidelines were incredibly hot. Reports suggest that three goals were even scored, from Lolo, Luis and with legendary John scoring a penalty. And in a move that absolutely no one was expecting, he also got man of the match. Et quel match! Quelle saison! Record was beaten with 50 points and a 2nd position overall. Hard to “Imagine” a team this cool

Champions 1sts were looking to keep their 💯 home record intact against a strong Wong team. No guard of honour from these lads, apart from our first goal, a great move involving Arjan, brilliant passing from Daan, Erik & superb assist from Rachid, great finish by Arjan. 2-0 then from a Rachid free kick & then he waltzed past 3 & curled our 3rd into the bottom corner. They then got a really soft penalty & James buried a beautiful own goal from a corner to make a comfortable game 3-2 at HT. We dominated the 2nd half but needed Ricard to make 2 great saves & then Thomas made it 4-2 at the end from a lovely Noel assist. MOTM Rachid. Onto O’Reilly’s for the celebrations. COYBIG ☘️🇮🇪🏆

1sts played against old rivals Brussels British today at Nossegem. They honoured us with a guard of honour & a nice presentation of champagne to DOF Paul pre match.Game was really even in the 1st half & at times very high quality, 0-0 at HT. We opened the scoring from a lovely cross from Liam onto Sigve’s head, after great work by Sylvain, nice finish from Sigve. Game continued to be even but they pressed well & eventually got the equaliser through a penalty. We almost immediately went back ahead, great work from twinkle toes James, to Luke, out to Rachid, 1st time cross with his right (right) foot to Jimmy who buried it first time for his first goal for the firsts. A nice win against worthy opponents who showed their class again, on & off the pitch. MOTM, aul twinkle toes himself, James.
