Welcome to Clarity Counseling Seattle

Clarity has been around for well over a decade, and the providers in our group are all well-trained, skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate therapists who know how to help. Every member of our team strives to provide a welcoming, comfortable environment that celebrates diversity and authentic self-expression. Our office serves clients of all backgrounds and communities, and our therapists are sex-positive, queer-affirming and trans-affirming, and kink and polyam affirming.

Here is some of what we hear from those who come to us for help:

  • We love each other but we need help communicating in ways that have us feeling connected and close, emotionally safe, and more like the team we wanna be.
  • Sex used to be great between us, but that's changed, leaving us confused and worried. We'd like sex therapy to improve our intimacy.
  • We love each other and are mostly happy in our relationship, yet we struggle with sex
  • Current events are triggering uncertainty/grief/trauma/fear. It's time for me to reach out for (or return to) individual therapy.
  • We're getting married soon and are super excited! We'd like to get some premarital therapy to make sure we're laying the foundation for a great marriage.
  • I knew my partner was unhappy in our relationship, but I didn't realize they were THIS unhappy. Please help us turn things around.
  • Our relationship is really stressed right now. We don't know how to make things easier.
  • I used to feel better and enjoy my life more. What's happening with me?
  • My partner/friends/family have been asking me to talk to a therapist for a while now.
  • I'm reaching out, but really how do you know when you need a professional counselor?

How Our Seattle Therapists Can Help

Couple on couch | Counseling in SeattleAs licensed therapists in Seattle and Seattle sex therapists, we've helped people in so many of these situations over the years, and we're now able to serve communities all over the State of Washington with a range of services offered thanks to telehealth therapy. People often contact us with the fear that nothing will change their situation, or that their partner can't make the changes they need, or that they themselves can't change. They may have tried therapy in the past and didn't feel like it helped (bad therapy...it happens), or they may feel embarrassed that they've waited this long to reach out for help. If that's you, please know that change is possible, help is available, and things can be different. We just need to hear from you so that together we can start that change process.

Our team works with individuals, couples, and polycules who want skills, tools, and guidance and who are ready to feel connected, present, hopeful, and empowered. Together we can help you to engage life in a more mindful and deeply-felt way, and to work through your struggles and into more joy, flexibility, and choice in your life.

We specialize in relationship therapy, couples counseling, sex therapy and intimacy therapy, and male-identified adults (men's issues) at Clarity Counseling Seattle in the Westlake/South Lake Union area of Seattle. Our therapists offer online therapy (telehealth counseling), which works wonderfully, though we also do in-person sessions in our South Lake Union offices.
