Martha Cinader

Martha Cinader is a dynamic force in both literature and performance. Her creative journey spans decades and continents. Rooted in jazz and the vibrant spoken word scene of ’90s New York City, and nurtured through collaborations with iconic figures like Steve Cannon, her passion for storytelling and poetry shines through each endeavor. Martha continues her artist journey with her latest novel In God We Trust-Fund, and the development of Marvelina, a fantasy series about a princess escaping the Kingdom of Square.

Now living in Greenville, SC, Martha is the founder and publisher of Listen & Be Heard, and currently the host and producer of the Listen & Be Heard Hour for Writers & Readers. She is the author of When the Body Calls, and Dreamscape, Real Dreams Really Make a Difference, and included in several anthologies. Aside from her hosting and artistic endeavors, she enjoys gardening and looking after the animals on her small orchard, and documents some of her experiences in the column, Martha’s Kitchen Garden.
