ASCLD Laboratory Accreditation Board

ASCLD/LAB specializes in the accreditation of public and private crime laboratories. ASCLD/LAB offers the following forensic testing disciplines: Drug Chemistry, Toxicology, Trace Evidence, Biology, Firearms/Toolmarks, Questioned Documents, Latent Prints, Digital and Multimedia Evidence and Crime scene (optional). The International program also provides accreditation in Breath Alcohol Calibration. ASCLD/LAB accreditation of testing labs is recognized by both the Inter American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
